Monoclonal antibody VIV-KM1 recognizes porcine NKp46 (CD335, doi: 10.1002/eji.201141989). Different from several other species, NKp46 is not expressed on all porcine NK cells but NKp46 expressing porcine NK cells seem to be in a less differentiated stage than their NKp46-negative counterparts (doi: 10.1186/1297-9716-44-13). NKp46 is also expressed on a small subset of porcine T cells, which have NK-cell characteristics (doi: 10.3389/fimmu.2016.00263). The staining example shows NKp46 expression in combination with CD8alpha on blood-derived porcine lymphocytes. Anti-NKp46 mAb VIV-KM1 was conjugated to AlexaFluor647, CD8alpha was labelled with mAb 11/295/33. Monoclonal antibody 11/295/33 was labelled with an isotype-specific secondary antibody conjugated with PE-Cy7 (goat-anti mouse IgG2a-PE-Cy7).
